Born on 28 September in 1980, New Delhi Sandeep Maheshwari is an inspiration to many. He left his college without completing his studies. He was studying "Bachelor in Commerce" in Kirori Mall College, which has been linked to Delhi University, but for some personal reasons, he could not complete his studies. He had a lot of desire to do photography, so he started photography in the year 2000 (Sandeep Maheshwari Photography). He also did freelancing photography for many companies and people. In the year 2001, he started working with many agencies.
In 2002, he opened a new company
with his close friends, but the company did not go for more than 6 months and
he had to close it. In 2002, he started a company with his 3 friends and again
the company closed in the early 6 months. He did not give up because he knew
that he had found a way to success.
In 2003, in collaborative work, he
took 10000 photo shots of a total of 122 models, which he took in just 10 hours
and 45 minutes, which became a world record. It was an important moment in his
life. After that, he did not stop and went ahead to expand his photography
profession.
He launched Images Bazaar In the
year 2006, at the age of 26. There are more than 1 Million collections of
Indian Models photograph and from there, there is no looking back.
This man has become an inspiration
for many youngsters. He now becomes a motivational speaker and inspires young
minds.
Carrer Timeline -
2000 - He started working as a freelance photographer without any studio.
2001 - He sold his camera and
started a job in Japan Life, a multi-level marketing company.
2002 - He started a company in
partnership with three more people but the company closed within a period of
six months.
2003 - He wrote a book on
marketing and started a consultancy firm but he failed again and got back to
what he was really passionate about - photography and He created a World Record
in fashion photography after published in the “Limca Book of Records 2004”.
2004 - Created a small studio
set-up at home and started expanding the portfolio making business by hiring a
few assistant photographers.
2005 - He focused on his idea to
start a stock photography website and started working on ImagesBazaar.com
2006 - IN 2006 finally He Launched
his website www.imagesbazaar.com with just 8,000 images shot by a few
photographers.
Milestones and Awards-
Creative Entrepreneur of the Year the award went to him in 2013 by Entrepreneur India Summit.
The award of one of India’s Most
Promising Entrepreneurs by “Business World” magazine go to him.
He got an award by British Council
that's award is Young Creative Entrepreneur Award by the British Council, a
division of the British High Commission
He gets Pioneer of Tomorrow Award
by which is conducted by “ET Now” television channel.
Apart from this, he has also been
featured in almost all the leading awards by magazines, newspapers and
television channels such as The Economic Times, India Today, CNBC-TV18, IBN7,
ET Now, NewsX and many more channels and newspapers.
